OnlineLab performs a biomechanical analysis of the voice signal based on an innovative methodology, which has nothing to do has nothing to do with traditional acoustic analysis or with those systems that perform some filtering of the sound wave to work with the glottal source. Voice Clinical Systems work directly with the final signal radiated at the lip level, and from it a procedure is applied to establish some correlates that allow inferring the biomechanics of the vocal folds. Singular segments and points of the voice signal are analyzed in order to provide highly relevant information for the study of the dynamics of the vocal folds during their vibration and for the detection of the associated pathology.
Biomechanical correlates include the fundamental frequency, the study of harmony in the movement of the edge of the vocal folds, the phases of the vocal cycle, the study of muscle tension and closure efficiency, tension and instability, separation of the Edges of vocal folds, mucosal wave and the possibility of presence of mass in the folds.
We provide to health professionals three types of reports:
- Clinical screening test
- Rapid alteration test
- Complete biomechanical imbalance report
Voice Clinical Systems with Online Lab makes available to the clinician a virtual laboratory, which will provide accurate information on the biomechanics of the vocal cords.. This information must be correctly interpreted, in order to be able to establish clinical judgments as accurate as possible.
Health professionals can get the necessary training to improve their skills in interpretation of results and sampling, through the different manuals, video tutorials, on-line courses and face-to-face that Voice Clinical Systems puts at your disposal in the Section "Training".
